I picked this up at one of the chain thrift stores yesterday. They must have saw something special about this one as it was marked up at $36.95 and it cost me a bit over $38.with tax. It wasn't running until I finally set it out in direct sunlight for a few hours. Also I need to figure out how to set the date window. Playing around with it, it seems I can pull the crown half way and turn it right or left and it advances forward or back turning it to the right. I doesn't advance with a concentric motion, but motors slowly to the next digit. I haven't figured out yet how to keep it advancing, as it will only go one digit at a time and then it sets itself back to where I started. I'll dig into it more, as there's some video instructions online. I can only think maybe someone got this watch as a gift and it just wasn't their style, because this watch is in like new condition. Its not really my style either, but I felt it was one I shouldn't pass on at the price it was.

Sure does look brand new when I open the image !! I like it congrats Tamrock!!

Nice score. I don't really care for the looks of that one either, but they are great watches. I've had mine for eight years and it's still going strong.

Very cool find, congrats! :occasion14:
