So I got a call from the builder at the house where I found the Indian in the stairs the other day. He wanted us to come over there, and just tidy up the yard a bit, and smooth out the tracks left by the Bobcat before the framers get there. So as I'm walking the yard I spied a little green circle in the dirt, picked it up and found myself holding an 1892 Indian Cent. The second in a week with no detector needed. Makes me wish I'd had the detector with me today though, as there would have been plenty of time to do a quick sweep of the yard this afternoon.

Sweeeet! These are getting harder to find everyday. Years ago it was almost a given you'd find at least one, but now, not so often. Breezie

Breezie, I know what you mean, these two from this house are the only ones I've found this year so far, although because of the heat and the ground being like cement I haven't done a lot of hunting lately. I'm starting on a new place tomorrow, and the detector is going with me, so we'll see what turns up this time.

nice find, you should never leave home without ur detector :laughing7:

Hehehe, aweosme man! I think I'd have to bring a detector working on homes like that. I'd probably also have to include a clause in the work contract that would grant detecting permission as well :)
