It's kind of funny, but I'm finding that hunting with someone
is far superior than not. It had been so long, I'd forgotten.

Met up with McCdig again for about a four hour walk.
Again, not much found, (by me), but, I just didn't care! :dontknow:
I still enjoyed the day greatly!

I brought my luck along as usual but I again let my host use it. ;)

I did think I might have had something really good for a minute or two:

Ah well....not much left. :dontknow:
Interesting, deep "57" hit, fun.... :)

Can you imagine the story this little
piece of history could tell!!!?

Old reins guide? Part of a bridle? :dontknow:

Once we were done today and parted ways
and Uncle McCdig gave me back my borrowed luck.
I stopped by a store on the way home.
Hit the coinstar and viola! LOL

Made Fishy & Blingie happy too!

Another decent relic hunt, fun companionship, nice day!

Thanks for stopping by folks!

Yeah. I suppose it could have been a watch. Would've certainly been a dainty one. Maybe for a child. I'm inclined to believe that it might've been some sort of a small locket. Maybe, even, with a picture in it, (now...wouldn't THAT have been great!? If the picture had survived?!) Stuff that dreams are made of! LOL

Thanks!
If it looks like there was room for two thin glasses? , It could be a "mourning locket" with a picture on one side and a lock of hair under the other glass. I just found one last week and looked at a lot of internet pictures. Your frame sure looks like mine. These were very thin, not thick like a watch.

It would have had a solid cover on front and back, but very thin metal

Yep, that was my take on this one. Thanks!
