On Sunday I slept in late so I only went to one sale. Saw a listing show up late that listed coins and antiques. I thought for sure it was fake.

I get there and it's real and I am the only one there. When the garage door opens, there is a table with coin books stacked a foot high. I almost had a heart attack. Turns out most of the books where state quarter books.

For $150 which is high. I got the items below. (10k chain not shown) The charm bracelet is the nicest sterling one I've seen and the owner said she started it in late 40s.

The owner was an 85 year old who had been taking pictures since the mid-40s. I bought her life's work which is probably 1000-2000 negative slides. She was surprised and really happy I wanted them.

The photos seem to be mostly of national parks, but they are all labelled and I did see a few interesting topics. It will take me years to go through them

The charm bracelet alone would cover the entire purchase! Nice! And the slides are a nice bonus...appreciation of her work that she knows will now be remembered by at least someone other than herself.

I love old Negatives. Pictures like these/ those are no longer taken, the times and ways of people have changed and it's a history lesson in itself. if you get any developed, please do share!
