Another first

Went to one of the oldest houses in town asked for permission to detect the owner said go ahead. I started by the walkway in the front first signal was an 1866 2 cent piece my first After that I found the silver earring some wheats and then the play money. The smallest coin has George Washington on it and a 5 on the back. The owner came out and asked if I had found anything so I told him what I had found and asked permission to come back tomorrow to search the back yard. He was more than willing to let me. The front yard was real small and close to the road so not much to cover but the back yard is huge so hopefully have some more good finds to show tomorrow. Thanks for looking and HH.

Congrats on that 2 center, that was my first coin 1865 2 center and 1865 IH in the same hole you can see where they were laying on top of one another. I found another 2 center there 1865 on the other one as well.

BTW, that silver earring is VERY interesting. . . could be a very old "tinkler" from the Fur Trade era in your area
