Another hunt in the ghost town

More square nails and a very odd iron object...now I have two weird objects to post under "What is it?". Spent more time visiting with owners of the land than usual. Also walked the fields taking a site survey of some new areas.

One place I really want to detect was disked last fall, which is great, except it is going to have to dry off some before I can get on it.

Oh, and I finally got a coin out of the field...but it turned out to be a 1960's penny.

I'm not getting the impressive finds of others on here..but I am slowly getting a visual image of the town, one no one has seen in 100 years. Going to post about it in "Today's Thoughts".

It'll probably take a few trips out there to figure it out, but when you do it'll be worth it.
