Well went to a house today I had been thinking about for a while, asked permission to hunt it, was told no problem. So hunt it is what I did. Its a big area may go back tomorrow for a bit, stayed about 4 hours today. Here's my take. First thing I dug was the little button with a ships wheel on it. Which I really like! I am guessing around 1900 maybe civilian? Then came the roosie. The little silver pin was the next keeper I dug. Its not stamped silver. :icon_scratch: But I am positive it is. The back says PAT. April-19-10 and underneath says Oct.-24-11. Also dug another brooch with some design on the outside. And last but not least was the large cent. Got a good date on it of 1834, Soaked it in peroxide got it cleaned up enough for a pic now letting it soak again. My third Large cent of the year and the best one so far. Also dug 14 wheat's not pictured. And my fair share of junk. Thanks for looking. :hello:

Good to see you're still getting the digs in. I think I have a similar button, only it dates to the 1700s. ;D

Thanks everyone! Patch I am positive this one isnt as old as yours, but I think late 1800's early 19's. Dont you? As a lobsterman, I was excited to see that design when I got home and cleaned it. For sure my favorite button so far.
