Another Large Cent tonight makes 5..WOW!!

[xlt nh]

Found the 5th Large Cent at the 1800 House after work...45min. hunt...found at the base of an old tree in the front yard..

Looks to be 1828, but hard to tell...big hunk of crud on the bust, but reverse looks nice!

Can't believe all the Large's coming out of this property.....a definite record for me!

I'll post pics after cleaning...Thanks for looking and HH,

sweet! shame about the corrosion but i know it well. every large cent i have ever dug is exactly like that or worse. they are still fun to find though. congrats!

Congrats on the 1828 large. Upon further inspection, I believe the one I found today was an 1828 as well. You've got a great site there. How much more of the site do you have left to detect?

Man, ya'll are tearin up some silver up North.

Thanks Guys!

Looks like about an acre to go plus woods beyond the stone walls...could be pokin' around this site for many months to come!

Finding those pennies like wheats. That's probably what will happen to me when I find my first LC - I'll find two or three on the same site.

Any old silver? Good chance for a two center.....

Good luck.
