I went with Megalodon twice within the last week breaking in (and trying to break) the new boat. We tooled around for miles up and down Calvert Cliffs looking for Miocene fossils. Lots of the places are inaccessible from land, so a boat is the only way to go.
We hit several spots and at the end of the day I had over 30 teeth day 1 and 50 day 2. Here's some pics. I managed to get one of each of the types of teeth found here, including a rare Angel shark tooth! They are TINY!
Megalodon
Mako teeth
Hemipristis
Cow shark (rare)
Mixed group, thrasher shark, bull shark, etc.
Angel shark tooth
Ray teeth and a porpoise tooth. I also found a fossil crab claw, some bone fragments, a shark or other fish vertebrae, part of a whale vertebrae, several nice pecten and clam shells, and some sea glass.
I had a blast!
