Hunting a Florida Creek for Shark Teeth - Tons of Teeth, Including Megalodon!

Hello Tnet members!

I managed to get out for a hunt with some friends a couple days ago. Lots of rain here in Florida means the rivers are flooded, but the creek hunting is good. We managed to find a new spot that hasn't been hunted before and pulled some very nice fossils out. If you're interested in the video, here it is:

A killer mako shark tooth I found.


A huge dugong vertebra in nice shape.


Here's where I doubled up with 2 megalodon teeth in the same screen, nearly touching one another!

Thanks for all the comments, folks! I am hunting quite a bit north of the Peace River here, but there's sites like this all over the state. Florida was completely underwater multiple times, so anywhere that is cutting through the layers of the correct age exposes fossils, often times big shark teeth!
