Another nice find today. Help with identification

One of my favorite points I have found mainly because everything here is almost always black. I have never found a point in WV this color. I wasn't sure the type though?

I don’t have any reason behind it, but i suspect it may be heavily resharpened.

Obviously beveled. Unusually heavy grinding as well. Fascinating !

It does look similar but not supposed to be found around here but you never know

My impression is that Bolens were the smaller, southern form of Thebes points.

Did you find in water? It reminds me of a creek stain but can come from the soil and sun patina also. Really nice find, I like it alot

Yes, it was found in a dry river bed.
