Went out on my dirt bike in the morning scouting for old fire rings and such. Found a promising looking spot and returned in my truck in the afternoon. Started right off finding several wheat cents, then a war nickel. A few more wheaties and then pulled this cool Sterling Indian Chief ring!
It looks like one's I used to see in the roadside curio shops in Arizona when I was but a lad.
Also scored what I believe is a WW1 Coast Artillery lapel emblem, an aluminum bling ring missing the shank, a brass tag, a Revlon lipstick tube, and a key. The wheats are all '40's and '50's. Not a big spot to hunt so I was really happy with the finds.
I'm really liking this Southwest desert hunting!
