I went back to the site that gave me the large cent pocket spill and pulled up two coins. A clad nickle and this thirteen star 1828 half cent! The half cent caught me a bit off guard, it was near the old home foundation in my previous post right next to a pretty modern cast iron tub. It was barely a couple inches in the ground!
I'm debating if I want to clean this one up or leave the crud on it. I'll probably clean it up as the dirt/patina is just falling off it already.
Thanks for looking!
