that's one of the more intricate cameos I've seen. Very nice
 

Barbara, really exquisite workmanship in both pieces. A master craftsperson made each. From what I can see, a really fine cameo as well. Using a magnifier, can you find any hallmarks? Really nice inheritance. A guess on age would be early 1900's.
 

You have a beautiful piece of jewelery.
My great grandmother's photo from 1880 contains a similar cameo. Unfortunately, some addicts broke in grandma's house and swiped it in 1973. Put yours in a safe.

Beautiful pieces, congratulations. The pin and catch on the broach I also see on police and fire badges of the 1920's-1960's. If that helps. Sub 8-)
