Edwin Donald Pickett, 72, from Augusta, Maine, on August 13, 2005. Attended from 1954 until 1955. He was employed for 35 years with Prudential Insurance, serving as sales manager, vice president, and retiring as district manager. He was awarded 26 prestigious Academy of Honor awards, 24 Presidential Citations, and five President Cup awards, and was nominated five times Manager of the Year for the northeastern home office. He served three terms on the Prudential advisory board and was a member of the Kiwanis, Elks, Knights of Columbus, and the Natanis Golf Club. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, four children including Karen Pickett Saucier ’79 and Edwin ’82, five grandchildren including Jennifer Saucier-Sawyer ’04, one stepgrandson, and brother Robert ’59.
