Another Tahoe Water Hunt

Plenty warm today at the lake so the tourist action is starting to pick up. Unfortunately, no gold for me today, but, I did score a 1943 merc at one of the most hunted Tahoe beaches!
The D2 sniffed that sucker out from about 10 inches of sand and a couple more inches of rocks under that, in knee deep water.
Plenty of targets out there and looks like somebody was passing by the nickel signals.

The merc was pretty crusty (it's just below the pennies)

Going to need to break this bad luck with the gold soon!

I'd consider putting the Merc in a Electrolysis Bath - this should really help clean it up.
