What we're finding in a huge pit at the Coraopolis Train Station is mostly clay, some wood, and bottles few and far between. Harvested this one yesterday, and cleaned it up. Has an H on the base, but the information I read about makers with that letter doesn't add up necessarily. We're in the Pittsburgh area, and the H, at least on the Glass makers' website, indicates a WH Hamilton, in Pittsburgh until 1898 and then Charleroi until about 1918. I assume this is a whiskey bottle; the H on the bottom is the only marking. Help a brother out!
