Another what's this creature

I found this guy in the yard today. I've never seen one here in Kentucky before or anywhere else for that matter. This is what Wikipedia says http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nucras_caesicaudata. I can't find a link where it says they live here in the US Oh and I'm in Kentucky

Wow, you're good! It looks so much like that blue tailed one, darn near exact. Yes, it's gorgeous. This one is curious but shy. Thanks for the info

ive seen one on the banks of the ohio river when used to work down there it left me scratchin my head because ive seen them all over arizona figured it was too cold for them up here

If I wanted to kill it I wouldn't have to do it with a metal detector. I think they look better alive and happy. Now, go eat a happy cookie and be nice.
