Hoping someone can help me with this antique artwork that I picked up. Paid $25 for it. Both the painting and the frame has really good age on it. Not a reproduction. I believe there is a signature but can't make it out. Does anyone have any experience on a piece like this? Any thoughts that could point me in a direction to identify work?

Thanks for looking. -HH

Nice 19th century, maybe early 20th century, Still life painting. Probably European. Baroque style, I believe. I'm no expert but to me it looks like it's painted "in the style of" the dutch masters. I wouldn't sell it until I deciphered the signature. That frame alone is worth more than the $25 you spent. What medium is it, oil? What is it painted on, canvas or board? Looks a little dirty, is it? Try to get a shot of the signature if at all possible.

looks like a very good score too me
