any advice since I'm new to all this?

Hi, I am kinda new to treasure hunting, and I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me? I plan on trying to go dumpster diving soon, and getting my first metal detector sometime in the future. Any advice for me on good places to look or anything? Thankyou!

everything has value to someone. Become good at figuring out what "trash" can be quickly converted into someone elses "treasure"

Have fun. There's so many different ways to treasure hunt that I'd have never thought of. Try the ones that seem interesting to you. Keep doing the ones you enjoy. That way even if you don't find something that day, you still had fun. So, once again, have fun.

Dumpsters, metal detecting, prospecting, pawn shops, thrift stores, garage sales, coin rolling, digging, or just looking down when you are out and about. the opportunities and methods are endless. Research, learn your area, talk to people and find what makes it fun for you.
