Got out for a few hours on new year's day. Aside from junk and old shot gun shell caps, the only find of note is this little fella. I found it under some bushes at a burned down early 1800's house where I found a few things in the past. Any clue to what it is? I think it might be some decorative part of a piece of jewelry. I tried to shoot it with light from the side to show detail better. The middle part actually has some cobalt blue color behind the corrosion.

The proper forum for id'ing finds is 'what is it' ... I wonder where this house might be.. hmmm

What's on the back? Looks like a tie tack...but better posted in the What is It forum.

To me it looks like an UDO (unknown detecting object)
Very pretty piece.
