Jan 2--1st hunt, 1st silver of the new year OREGON-CDCLC

Me and a buddie got out for a few hours yesterday to an old house sight. We have recovered over 30 wheats in 3 trips, but never any silver coins. Obviously cherry picked at some point. Finally found a dateless standing liberty quarter. Worn, but I'll take it. Found this by doing the yards, from another direction. Works every time. Also found 6 wheats from the 40's and 50's, a Victorinox knife. and a little clad. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice job, Wayne! My first find of 2009 was an SLQ, and it remains the only one I ever found.

Glad you could get out. I went by myself Saturday and also broke the silver barrier with a Roosie.
