I bought my ATP from Bart. Got to NC in a day or so from OK.
The manufacturers tell the dealers the minimum price they can charge. If left to free market forces, some large dealer would sell the product at very little margin, this would hurt the other dealers. Nobody wants to sell something that they can not make a little money on. In the long run it costs the consumer a little more money, but it allows multiple dealers, as well as keeps the dealers from beating up on the manufacturer for lower costs. That being said, if you call a supporting vendor, and tell them you are from TNet... there just might be a little wiggle room in the price. Keep in mind that lower cost items, have very little profit in them anyway (for the dealer).
