Any experts in Canadian silver?

I have this ruined canadian silver which was hammered to make a ring, but not finished. Im almost certain is silver but not sure if the 80% or 50% variety. It has that "yellowish" look of the 40% Kennedys, but not sure about it.

Any help will be appreciated.
