any good books for western NC?

[neo]

Seems most books tell stories about the east coast are there any books full of leads for western NC?

You might google this area, I know there are gem books out there, check with Rick Jacquot, American Rockhounds for gems, gold is another story unless you try some of NCGS books or pamphlets.
