Find the scene and maybe a clue, looks like the backdrop to a fire in a city, Chicago, Boston, New York, all had big fires at some point in history. looks like "Ian" something. Also, where did you find it at? What Region, City, State, etc. that might narrow it down a bit.

Did you look on the back of the painting?

Sometimes the artist will also sign the back and a name for the painting.

The Cleve did have a fire as well, I'd think it was a local artist. But more than half the time I don't know what I'm talking about, but meh, tis what it is. Side note, I think its a cool painting.
