So the holes don't connect with each other?

The object is hollow. I don't know how else to answer your question. You can get a rough idea of how thick the metal is from the picture. If I were to take a piece of string I could run it through one hole and then through all the of the rest.

Does that help?

Yes that is what and why I was asking. I'm gonna simply say it is some sort of button. But it very well could be something else.

Thanks that is what we are thinking it is. A button but not sure from what. Thanks.

Found this along with a three ringer and a ball shot at a known CW camp site. It is made of copper or bronze not sure which. There is no hole in the back of it. It has an almost teardrop shape on the side with the holes.

I have a small idea what it might be but would like some input from others....
Rattle or very small bell, probably for a baby.

I have found several of those and some were still shiney and looked like copper. I found them in kiddie parks. I think they are part of something else that kids play with but not sure what. I just found 4 laying here on my desk but they are not quite the same. Monty

I've found a lot of strange things, but never had to smell one to see what it was made of! :laughing9: Monty
