Any Ideas? Galena? Wolframite?

I found this in the tailing of a mine in the Bingham area of New Mexico. It does not leave a mark on paper, it's gravity is pretty heavy (240 grams) which is about twice the weight of some similar sized jasper. I've already had one professor of geology (online) tell me it's not Galena because it isn't "shiny"... which isn't correct is it? I thought Galena's exterior could deteriorate.

Any ideas would be AWESOME for this FNG.

THANKS!

When galena deteriorates it is gray. It also has cubit cleavage and is shiny when fresh broken. As to your picture, to blurry for a zoom, try a picture when its dry as well because the shiny area's I cant tell if its water or something else. A picture of an area with a fresh chip out of it as well. The exterior is pretty oxidized and that suggests iron, possible pyrites and or hematite. A streak test would be helpful as well.
