Hello. I found these two items at a c.1920's homesite. They are brass. I am thinking the oval piece is the bottom of a golf club head?? The other thing is some kind of clip for a ???

Thanks for the view and let me know if you have any clue on these.

Not too sure, but given my knowledge of golf equipment (work at a retail store, played competitively my whole life) I'm pretty confident that item #1 is not from the bottom of a clubhead. You would likely see some kind of writing and it wouldn't have that many holes.

I know nothing about dancing, but I'm guessing taps off the bottom of a tap dancers shoe. At leas the flat one off the heel of the shoe. My granddaughter tap dances,
but I never looked at here shoe real close.

Not from tap shoes. Too many holes. Taps only have 3 holes and are more "triangular" shaped than oval. Otherwise, I haven't a clue, sorry.

The first item is so irregular that it looks like a home made patch for something.

I believe the first item is indeed the bottom plate from an earlier style wood driver golf club.

The other thing looks like its part of the latch from a set of pocket doors was one on each door and a latch or lock went thought the slot.

You may actually be right on this one. Just seems too crude/irregular to me. But I'm no expert!
