Found this today in the creek by an old colonial house. It's the handle off of something but i don't know what. Has a round bit pinned int the middle. Grips are wood.

How's about another view. A box doesn't always have 6 sides, but you would never know without looking at other sides.

Post a side view please, and maybe even 180° from the view posted.

Looks like a handle to an older style of screwdriver. I have a couple on my shop, and I think they are Model T era.
