found these two little pieces last year at different sites 5 miles apart.they are each about half an inch in length. have been wanting to find out what exactly they are.im thinkn fossils,but i thought they could have been beeds if they were artifacts.

Crinoid stems they were sometimes used as beads alot of them have natural holes in them.

just google it you'll see, fossils from the ancient oceans that used to be here.find those alot,as well as shells, horn coral etc... i found a nice shell yesterday.

Picks right, those are pieces of Crinoid Stems. I have a bunch of those and even have a few I have found on sites that were used as Beads.
