Not certain. Striations on outside suggests it might be bone or at least a bone segment. Looks like it has some mineral replacement going on. Need photo through the center of the piece as well.

yeah that's what i figured it was ..was a bone but wasn't for certain... looks pretty old but then again it was a creek,,but didn't look like most of the bones i'v found in the creeks and that's why i posted it...hey thanks for the help!!!
