Any info on these shell beads

Received as a gift. Was found in Illinois under a torn down shed. Is it common for this many beads to be found all together? Any guess on age? Guess its what's left of a necklass. Any info would be welcome.

Olivella Shells ? Very nice. I am not that versed on shell but some members are. Nice gift for sure. You should string them on fishing line. Yes they decorated clothing and many items with them. That was a lot of collecting by someone.
 

Great find where they just laying on top of the dirt under the shed or a little in the dirt. If they where in the dirt I would go back and do some more looking a little deeper:headbang:
 

If they were sewn onto clothing, they would have made an amazing noise when the wearer was dancing! Like tinklers but not... We don't see this kind of thing every day- thanks! Yak

From what I can see in your pics it looks to be a few different types of Shells. It looks like Olivella and Marginella Shells and a couple other types. Can you take some better pics of them cleaned up and without the flash?
