007.webp010.webpI found these all pretty close together in a field. They are pewter, have a little silver plating left on them, one side looks like it was ornate with little flowers or something and one is marked 22 on gold plating?New one to me,!I have know idea, but all the pieces looks like they went to the same thing whatever it was.

It looks like broken pieces to a candelabra or the likes.

Interesting find :)

005.webp007.webp008.webp009.webpThanks Breezie.I can see them being from something like that.I didn't realize it until I cleaned those pieces up a little better and they look like they have some kind of a hinge to where those pointed flap looking things might have moved?I just found that other piece nearby that probably went to it.How has the selling been going?

Look similar to the coffin hardware I found recently. A friend of mine also found similar pieces recently. I'll try to find his photos and post them.

Well that is weird, and a little creepy if that's what they are.It doesn't make much since. There is no cemetery around there that I know of , unless the farmers worked the fields over it?Very strange.Do you think the round piece is too?

Not sure about the round piece. But take a look at these pieces, found by a friend of mine who was cleaning up an old family cemetery. I wouldn't discount that yours may be coffin hardware just because there's no known cemetery close by. Single to a few burials on family properties was rather common 150 years ago.
