can anyone see any resemblence. The second pic is a cannonball found on the internet . you can find the artical by typing in bronze cannonball. tell me what you guys think thanks.o the second one has a hole drillied into it to take out the gun powder.

Sorry to hijack the thread here but I found a large ball too, I think it's a triple fused cannonball based on the three holes in it. It's marked "MAXIM" and has a strange purple patina to it. It weighs about 10 pounds and about 8 1/2 inches across. Will someone here tell me how rare this cannonball is, and let me know the collector value?
