Trying to figure out some info on this coin. Not worried about value just trying to see who is depicted and any meaning.

I'm no expert but it does appear to be a replica or fantasy coin. Hope I'm wrong.
What is the back story? Was it purchased or dug? Where found?

Hello,

I read something like Phillipus, which would make it a coin of Philip the Arab (244-249).

Radiate type.

Bust would fit with the P the A had a beard, I think.

Mackaydon is right, it looks extremly crude to me and chances are that this is a fake.

Thanks for the responses anything can help. My friend was given a coin collection (mostly modern silver) and this was in it. I love researching coins but I was at a loss. I figured it might be a fake but was interested in the depiction.
