It's pretty heavy and the more I clean it up the crazier it looks.

I'm not sure how to tell the difference between rock and bone but I believe it's one of the two. My brother put a magnet to it and it's not magnetic. Thanks for checking it out though!

Bone should have pores in it.

IMO that doesn't look like a fossilized bone. If it were a bone, it would have the shape of a bone, that looks too thick and "globular" to be a bone.

LOL..I guess you learn something new everyday. The magnet statement was just a little more info on it. I had no idea if lead stuck to magnets or not. Never really thought about it. Thanks for clearing that up for me though! LOL

Can you bend it? Is it heavy and soft? If not, probably a rock.

Looks kinda like someone tried to make a waterfall out of some rocks. just trying to wrap my mind around it. Thinking out loud.

Do you own a soldering iron? If not, they run about 30 bucks at Lowe's. Lead will melt with it. If not lead, then we need some better pictures and we can really dive into it. I think it has a lot of potential.

Looks like the molds created when you pour lead down a termite nest.

Scratch with knife. If lead, it will have a silver color under the patina.
