If there is a small hole on the narrow end, it could be a fashioned "pipe" for a dope smoker. You would be surprised at the things I have found that they used to make their pipes with. If not, then I dont have any ideas. Ron

I cleaned out the inside and with a light I was able to notice threads on the inside. Kinda like a fence top maybe. It screws onto something

Lampshade finial: the piece that is screwed into the top of the lamp's harp to keep the shade attached. Hope this helps.
