These prices might possibly reflect on a lack of faith in the dollar. Looking for investments with their money. Smart people.
Only works for the boomers…once they’re gone prices/demand will drop like a rock.

Car auction on the history channel now. WOW i can not believe the prices these cars are bringing
1961 Chevy $190,000 AMAZING !!!
Same at Mecum in Fl. 2 weeks ago.Muscle car market IS alive & well :)

With the prices on everything going up I seriously doubt that.

Watched it or Similar Auctions a few Years ago.
Yes Outrageous what some will pay to show off they have more cash to spend then the last guy

biggest issue, if certain factions get their way, it will cost equal prices
for a permit to turn the engine over for 60 seconds in america and you better have an
approved air filtering system :unhappysmiley:

all I'll say :coffee2:

Boomers aren’t gone yet. I have adult kids, they nor their friends could give two cents about antiques, hot rods or classics as you or I do.

That's because they can't find "an app for that"!

I'm a classic! Just not worth much, my transmissions blown......

Every time I try to be the winning bidder at Mecum or Barretts, I get outbid....every time. Maybe I should bid more than 30G. I recently saw the Mecum #1 bidders numbered neck tag sell for more than a new car......whats wrong with this world:laughing7:

My Nephew recently (couple years ago) Purchased a classic Mustang Show Car, when he saw it online. I believe he called it his midlife crisis :laughing7: had it shipped to him and put it in his garage.
rarely drove it.

I can guess his youngest girl or boy will probably sneak it out ,
and get caught racing once they get old enough to drive:laughing7:

Makes me wish I still had my 1966 GTO. Just googled it and some are going for over a 100K
Alas, if wishes were fishes

It’s like the boat show I go or watch it tell I get depressed. Then I leave or turn it off.

A matching numbers 1969 Chevelle SS with a 396, bucket seats, and a horseshoe shifter gets me every time.

Wonder why they are going for so much ?? I am buying silver and bullets, and rebuilding my F250 as I can not afford my addictions and pay around a $1,000 a month truck payments. I have even been adding to my scrap metal pile and buying lead to make bullets. I had a guy offer me a 1970 Bronco with 60k mileage that looked new for $2,500 some years back and I didn't buy it I had a brand new Explorer that I was using to hunt stuff.

......like this
