I should of took a picture of it before I tore it apart... but I didn't... this is what I now have...
Last week I found the top part of a flute... Anyone else find one of theses?
I do know some are made of silver and gold... (the professional ones) as I was taking it apart, grinding on it and beating the heck out of it I noticed it wasn't brass looking it looked silver... but I couldn't find any markings... now each of the 3 pieced ring up high on the VDI 78+ to 82+ like copper or brass would even silver.... I guess what I am asking is how can I find out for sure if its silver or not. I know there are several tests that can be done with chemicals but I don't have any of those...
BTW its black because it was in the water for who knows how long.
