Anyone ever see a flying Bandido?

Because I'm about ready to throw mine out the window...

Actually, I do have a serious "help" question. I just picked up a Bandido II Umax in fantastic condition - so far everything is working just fine. My question is this - How can I go about setting the machine up as if it were new? In particular, the ground balance? Should I just wait until I'm in the particular area that I'm hunting? This is the 3 3/4 turn ground adjust knob. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

If I understand your question, you should wait until you are at your hunting site to adjust the ground balance to that particular ground condition.
That is the advantage to having manual ground balance over fixed ground balance.
The important thing to remember is to find some ground clear of metal when you do the balancing procedure. Also, remember to check the ground balance from time to time while detecting to make sure the conditions of the ground are not changing.
I have a Vaquero and it takes little time to balance once you have some clear ground.
