Detector(s) used
Minelab xterra, Whites DFX, Notka Makro Simplex. Folks the price don’t mean everything, the question is are you willing to put in the time to learn the machine, experience will pay off I guarantee it.

I figured, but I thought I’d ask, terry in your opinion you think this machine will compete or pass the minelab 800. Your the expert, price is nice however, are they making money on this unit, the simplex I don’t no how they made much, thanks

I don't think terry is allowed to answer that either

Terry, I’m going to be nice let’s assume all metal detector companies are good, I mean they no what customers they are reaching out to price points, mid level to high end. So now we must consider that probably correct me, the top 3 companies are, not in any order, xp deus, minelab, notka makro, Garrett, fair enough. You no folks that metal detec beginners or so called experts. Each state is different than the other for finding coins and relics. this is hard to doubt if you didn’t no the price and brand name of the machine, what are your thoughts, it’s hard but performance is everything which drives cost, but being nothing made in usa what can we say. Minelab had the run for years for obvious reasons and regardless of price and equipment problems, is it fair to say notka makro is a legit detector company, boy the price comparison alone would say. Xp deus is all about wireless technology expensive but is it worth it. I’m like many looking forward to this dam legend machine, why because it’s competing with the equinox 800 which is considered the top dog. Give me your opinion what you no and what you expect, thankyou

I think the Legend is going to be a home run for Nokta/Makro. It is going to match or exceed the Equinox 800, for the price of the Equinox 600, in my opinion. I think they gave away the Simplex, in order to break into a very competitive market, and make a name for themselves here and in the U.K. A "loss leader," if you will. Yes they made money, but certainly not as much as they could have by pricing it to match the AT Pro.

Honestly, I can't wait to get the final production model in my hands!

I mean I’m not one to overhyped any product, the real test comes from the users and feed back, terry do you think that indicator ferrous and nonferrous will help a lot or just a little

Depends on the user but for me, a lot!

I’m not sure anyone will respond, they where given out to different testers in different countries, curious how there experience is going, they won’t be available earliest January 2022 or feb most likely.
Quarter Hoarder on you tube just did a short video testing it out.
