I got some coin holders, but I forgot to get my dad something so I regifted it to him. He was very happy.
Also got a box of pennies put some rolls in the kids stockings and all together we got 13 wheaties. They had a blast looking through 2500 pennies.

I got nothing related to metal detecting....as it is been agreed upon that since I buy and have all that I need throughput the year, it's all good.
I did get my new 2017 Redbook, so that's as close to the hobby I got.

I do have to brag about what I did get....
An introduction to flying lessons.
It's a Q&A session about the classes, programs, fees, and all info I need to make an informed decision about a new hobby, or if I become real ambitious, a new career. Also includes a flight over the city for an hour, which I can get the controls for a bit.....awesome!

I recieved a sand scoop but it's not the one I need.. good for lite use but not good for hard core beach or water hunting.. my last one gave up the ghost while hunting on vacation.

I got a pair of Killer B's, a Samson Shovel, and a book by Gary Drayton on "Water Hunting".

I like Clive's books too, have purchased several. In the books, it's all about learning something you've not even thought about! I love books!

I'm into the science of the machines. When I returned to the hobby I picked up the Ace 250. It was not the machine for me, not what I was looking for. I gave it to my cousin. He beach hunts, and thus far he's found 6 pieces of gold jewelry, and to date with my CTX, Excal, and others - I'm still waiting.

If you search, it will come. Never give up! Unless of course you live local to me

I'm proud to say my wife gave me a Bounty hunter time ranger to replace my old one. I can't wait for the snow to melt to use it. Come to think about it I should use it to find my car.
