Anyone have info on Tahoe?

Going up to Tahoe city this weekend. Does anyone have leads they're willing to part with in the area? Know anything about ruins/abandoned buildings in the surrounding national forest? Been knee deep in old maps and newspapers for the last week but I haven't found squat.
