I got interested in it myself a little over 40 years ago but like anything else, I'll get excited with it for awhile & then forget about it for a few years, get excited again, etc.. Repeat... The type set was expensive. Guess the seated dollars were the most money.

My collection only consists of four or five coins, and their condition isn't all that important to me, what I want is the little cc on the back side. I used to live in Nevada, near the Comstock, and I wanted some silver from the Comstock lode, and the best way to be sure that's where it's from is if it is marked for the Carson City mint. So here are three coins from my collection.
