Anyone here from Erie County?

I'm located in Corry.

I go up to Erie a few times a year to go fishing. I'd like to detect up there sometime.

Yup. I live in Girard. I'm hoping to get a Bounty Hunter Quick DrawII for Christmas. I'll let you know if Santa comes thu. lol

I live in Harborcreek. I too am looking for some good leads. I'll spend the winter doing some research. I have been detecting for 3 years now with the bounty hunter. I will be upgrading to a DFX for christmas. I would suggest joining your local historical society, you'll be surprised with the information you come across. I just joined Harborcreeks and glad I did so.

Thats a good idea. How and where..............??? I'm There.
I've been doing a ton of reading on line .......... found out a lot of things i never knew.

try this link. Find out the hours and go visit them. I have come across a great deal of research items and will soon be intraduced to people that talked to people that lived long ago.
Also try penn pilot, when ever they get the site back up. Take these maps, download google earth and overlay them.
Have you come across any other good maps of our area????

No have come across any good maps.........Most i have seen on line lack detale or land marks from what i can tell........ I just started looking for them about a week ago.

Thanks for the web site info dude
