Anyone know of any cobs being found in Hollywood Beach area???

New to detecting and will be in the Hollywood/Ft.Lauderdale area in the middle of July. Tried Vero Beach area last year same time but (according to posts) it has been slow with the new sand and all. From Missouri so I don't get to the beaches much. Thanks, Pat

No cobs that I know of. I'd be tempted to drive north to around Ft. Pierce. Pepper Park, Colored Beach and the Pines might be productive. If you get a good low tide, the sand bar off Hollywood and just South of the Pines produce a lot of modern stuff.
