What country? If I remember right I think the one side has a date

I will measure it in a bit the writing on the side was similar to a coin the someone translated to a date for me at one time

It is not old.
It is an ashtray.
It is brass.
It is rectangular.
It is probably from the gift shop in the TIKI TORCH Motel. :P

The bottom looks like tin
agree with the ashtray thing
IMO the symbols look Greek, Chinese, Egyptian and maybe Indian
