Anyone putting together a type set from CRHing?

Just wondering if anyone is trying to put together a US type coin set from coin roll hunting, and if so, what have you found? What's your oldest type coin? I have found the usual that everyone finds w/some good volume: a few indian cents, buffalo nickels, mercs, lots of wheats and newer silver coins, but I haven't found any really old stuff yet. Anybody ever find a bust half, seated dimes/quarters/halves, large cents, etc CRHing?

I've put together the Jefferson Nickels 1938 - 1961 set. They are circulated condition so not worth much as a set, but it is nice to say I have it.

not intentionally putting together a type set, but of the types here is what I have found

large cent: none found yet
small cent: every type from Indian head cent to present, missing only the flying eagle.
2 cent: none found yet
3 cent: none found yet
half dime: none found yet
nickel: every type from V-Nickel to present, missing only the shield nickel.
dime: every type from seated to present.
20 cent piece: none found yet
quarter: only washington to present
half dollar: every type from barber to present
dollar: every type from morgan to present.
all denominations above $1: none found yet.

2/3 Cent: None
Half Dime: None
Nickel: Buffalo Nickel
Dime: Mercury Dime

Quarter: 1947 Washington
Half Dollar: Walking Liberty
Dollar: Ikes (no silver dollars... yet)
$1+: None

Still have yet to find my first Barber/Seated/Bust, though I've found plenty of IHs... Also have yet to get a V or Shield Nickel.

The last time I asked a bank teller for a roll of large cents all I got was a funny look.

oldest to date is about 1863 indian head.

indian head book is about half done... no flying eagles. Both jefferson nickel books are completed.
the buffalo nickel book has some holes.
my wheat penny book 1940 to 70 something is done and i have a second one i could complete as well.
pre 1940 wheats.... serious holes hahah


dimes quarters and half dollars too much for me
oh i have one shield nickel

I've only hunted halves to this point pulling out any silver or proofs, and some NIFCs, but I haven't put in any effort to make a true set out of it.

I am considering doing a few boxes of quarters to try and finish up the state quarters sets the wife and I started years ago, in addition to pulling silver of course.

i have the following so far:

pennies: IHP-Present(excluding steel cent)
Nickels: V nicke;-Present
Dimes- merc-present
Quarters-Silver washington-present
Halves- Walking liberty-present excluding 90% silver proof or 1970 and 1976 silvers
Dollars- Peace dollar to present

I have found all silver Roosevelt dimes with all mintmarks. 1955 P-D-S and 1949 P-D-S were the toughest to locate.

Filling books was my only mistake besides not starting before '07. Sure it was fun for awhile but at the end of the day its just junk silver sitting in $200 worth of folders that I have become attached to. Now I have a Kennedy folder just lacking 1/2 dozen silver proofs. (3) full Franklin folders and one lacking a '49S and another lacking the '49S and '55. A couple Walker books better than half full. Washington book lacking the two expensive ones and one other. (3) full silver Roosevelt folders and another lacking 2. A couple Mercury folders better than half done- no keys though. Jefferson has two holes besides the War ones (I keep trading them for 90% weight for weight). Also have a couple wheat folders but them wheats will stay in the jar till I'm older and greyer and have time.
Wanna know how much fun my books are now? Kennedy hasn't left the shelf for long time (last couple silver proofs I found were already in it). Same with the other half dollar books. Washington ditto. Every once in awhile I get to fill or upgrade a spot in one of my dime books. Jefferson is a new thing, only reason is a friend needs 4 rolls of every year/MM for his kids and trades with ME- besides the folder was free. I am in the process of filling dated/mm rolls to sell to him as well but not that much, I still just want the silver haha.
BTW I have found Barber dimes, quarters and halves but not near enough to warrant more dam books. Also found a few seated halves, again no book. HH all, Mark
