Found this today at the beach in the wet sand. The outer ring seems to be copper and it has a plastic insert. The center pin is a fairly strong magnet. There are no threads inside or out. The outer edge does have a pattern on it. 2 horizontal grooves below and vertical reeding like the edge of a coin above....probably to aid in gripping it. This thing measures 2" in diameter and is 3/8" thick.

Thanks guys, I guess it's obvious that I don't "grind" :laughing7:. Why the need for the magnet? Just to kinda keep the lid on? (pun intended :laughing7:)

Magnet is to keep the lid from flying off and spilling the contents.

I didn't realize the lid spun around fast enough for that to be a problem! :laughing7: I figured the contents would be rolled and smoked long before losing a lid would be something to worry about.
